Technical key points for high-yielding cultivation of Shimeji mushrooms

1. Bacteria management
White jade mushroom mycelium grows vigorously, produces bacteria quickly, and has high environmental requirements. The temperature during the colonization period of the bacteria is controlled at 22-24°C, the temperature during the mycelium growth period is controlled at 20-22°C, the relative air humidity is 60%, there are no garbage dead spots in the room, miscellaneous bacteria are cleaned up in time, and Lysol is disinfected once a week.
2. Mycelial post-ripening
The length of time for white jade mushroom mycelium to mature depends on indoor temperature, ventilation, and light. In order to accelerate the post-heating process and produce mushrooms as early as possible, the post-ripening indoor temperature is controlled at 25-28°C, scattered light is provided every day, and the room is ventilated. The mycelium turns from pure white to gray or khaki, and the post-ripening is completed.
3. Bacteria standard
After the white jade mushroom mycelium is ripe, scratch the fungus in time, scrape off the surface hyphae, and strive to make the surface smooth. For bag material cultivation, the bag mouth is rolled up from top to bottom, and the height between the material surface and the bag mouth is 3 cm. Pour out the scraped fungus residue in time, keep the bag mouth neat, use a watering can to lightly spray clean water on the surface of the material to moisturize it, and send it to the fruiting room.
4. Mushroom management
The temperature of the white jade mushroom fruiting room is controlled at 12-16°C, the air humidity is 90%-95%, and the light is 6 hours a day. After 10 to 15 days of budding, densely packed white primordia the size of millet grains will differentiate on the surface of the material, gradually becoming needle-shaped. When the needle-shaped buds differentiate into small dark brown spherical caps, they will enter the mushroom breeding room.
5. Harvest at the right time
The room temperature for growing white jade mushrooms is controlled at 14 to 15 degrees Celsius, and the air humidity is 85% to 90%. If it is too humid, it will easily produce yellow spots. With 10 to 12 hours of light every day, the stipe length is 4 centimeters and the cap diameter is 1.5 to 2.5 centimeters, which is a first-class product. The length of the stipe is 6 to 8 cm and the diameter of the cap is 2.6 to 4 cm, which is a second-grade product.
